HAMMERS UNITED UPDATE: - We've been inundated with requests to take direct action over the past 36 hours. We have in the words of Phil Stringfellow, "Stayed Classy" but Bubbles, Lee Rogers, myself and the committee recognise that we unfortunately appear to be approaching the end of that long road, which has seen us all but exhaust our options.

We are therefore engaging a number of other supporter groups, associations, social media outlets and influential supporters, as well as the correct authorities.

So there is no doubt, this group has gone about it's business the right way from it's inception.

We have been polite and patient, exploring all the correct avenues available. It would seem that some had hoped that by ignoring us, we would fade and die. . . on the contrary, we now will rally our loyal and long suffering support. . . you loyal and dedicated Hammers. . . your West Ham supporting friends and family. . . it's as Hammers. . . United we must take a stand.

We will look to provide you all with an update shortly, and once we understand the options available, we will put them to you our members.

Tross 😎⚒

I was one of those that fell for the spin, but after one season, let go of the season tickets, its just a dull expensive experience. Even when the team are doing well its still not a great experience, no atmosphere, character, history, which is all we had really.

Going away this week to Southampton, beers and some fun and make the most of it.

Always thought it would take 5 years to sort itself out, progressively improve each year.

The squad is a good one, just poorly managed which is the sign I would put up outside the stadium to sum the club up as a whole.

Re: How much more are we going to take?
Yep - true.

And that's why I gave up my season ticket.

Plastic ground full of many plastic day-tripper fans these days. That footage of Arsenal fans in our end, celebrating wildly, is shameful for our club.

They'd have been too scared to have even tried that at Upton Park (even if they had been able to land a ticket). The Olympic Stadium fills nobody with dread. It's like a theme park. Might as well have Mickey Mouse at the gates.

there's no going back. get over it.

unless the club is sold to the super rich we are lumbered with the cesspit.

Re: How much more are we going to take?
I was, briefly, in favour of moving to the Olympic site when I first got wind of the move (was the first journo to report on the plan to make the stadium an IKEA-style "flat pack" frame that could be collapsed down to 60,000). Initially, I fell for all of the spin about retractable seating and the like.

But then I saw the actual plan, and spoke to the council and the highly-paid consultants on the deal - this was still at an early stage. I remember looking at the plans/models and thinking "we're going to be fucking miles away from the action - and what the hell is that athletics track still doing there?"

From that moment on, I was completely sold on the idea of staying at Upton Park. That was still at an early stage.

I hate the London Stadium. It's a great stadium. But it is an athletics stadium. It is not a football ground. And I'm not sure it ever can be.

I miss Upton Park. I fucking miss it.

Re: How much more are we going to take?

that post is a right load of rubbish.
Dendoncker didnt have anyone 'on toast'. he was filling in at centre half, he doesnt start when everyone is fit.
Ascacbar is just someone playing football manager.

then all the bollocks about Wilshere, Pellegrini went on record saying he wanted him. Same with Fredericks.

its a right load oh hysterical bullshit. i'm surprised it doesnt say some bollocks about 'next level' or 'sold a dream but given a nightmare'.

Looks like we are taking a bit more. As he’s not been sacked already (?!) he’s probably been given the Southampton Defeat to prove beyond all reasonable lingering nagging doubt that he can barely manage to stand up for 10 minutes let alone motivate a team.
